@chyannuhhh @Popstepicon Also, during said said confession, Kishimoto clearly and plainly positioned Sasuke to be at a focal point of distance even in the art work from his posture. Where he has his back to her. Compare this with Naruto where he is facing him forward, emotionally intimate

@chyannuhhh @Popstepicon You sourcing the datebooks is so funny. Like really the one who filled his lonely existence with love is Sakura?? That’s not canon. We know that’s it’s Naruto’s love that saved Sasuke. We know the monologue he says about Naruto - that’s canon. Not

“chasing him for romantic intent” literally she wanted team 7 to stay together and for him to be safe which was told before he left and what kakashi said “brotherly forehead poke” so why didn’t naruto get it 🤦♀️ the poke is his love language and he did it to his daughter as well

If this were the case, most narusasu shippers would be looking for another guy to ship Naruto with and call this “slop”

@miquellasdiscus So so. Sakura is the main heroine of Naruto, she deserved to have her own ability too just like Naruto and Sasuke. If we go by your logic then we can’t criticize anything ever cause everything is the author’s decision.

@althenna ehhh I would say that’s more of a problem with kishimoto’s writing than Sakura as a character. that man is inconsistent sometimes and i honestly don’t think he would care to write a scene a like that

so just because a character doesn't get a happy ending or some cathartic justice (which victims of genocide/systemic oppression often don't get in the world) doesn't make it a bad ending. Kishimoto isn't writing Disney feel good story. Grow up please

you're actually very dumb

y’all are actually getting on my nerves 😭 yes kishimoto canonically wrote naruto saving sasuke but he also canonically wrote that by making sasuke loyal to his own oppressors. it’s CANON that he’s a victim of genocide and it’s CANON that he never got justice
