Periyarism's, a neo-religion's central tenet is hatred for the brahmin (derogatory 'paapan') absolving the larger and feudal middle classes. It is a negative ideology. No societal progress, morality or advancement in any way can come out of such negative neo-religions.

@pramodrama The plurality of gods and goddesses within the Hindu (and Buddhist) cosmology never fails to baffle semitic religions that tend to count gods using whole numbers. Meanwhile, Hindus know that you can't count the uncountable just as you can't measure light with a compass.

Karuppasamy is a kshetrapala deity in TN and Kerala. He is a warrior and is offered meat, cigars and alcohol as bhog. In Kerala he is considered as lieutenant of Ayyappa Swamy and has a shrine to the right of pattietam padi (18 steps) leading to the Sannidanam. The beauty of Hinduism is that there is not one form of worship and people must appreciate that.

A British doctor stranded in India for 4 months over an anti-BJP FB post finally boarded a flight home Tuesday. Before leaving, he spoke to @thaver_mohamed, looking visibly relieved, but still asking the Q that has haunted him: "How can a 12-word post attract an FIR & LOC?" Rs 50 lakh in legal fees. 4 months away from his children. Nearly lost his job. Read his story: indianexpress.com/article/cities… via @IndianExpress

Water currents in the Arabian Sea (and connected Persian Gulf) have been essential for maritime trade between India and the UAE region (historically the ancient Magan area of Oman/UAE) and other ports since at least ~2600–3000 BCE. These currents are part of the North Indian Ocean's unique monsoon current system, which reverses direction seasonally due to the reversing monsoon winds. This reversal created predictable, favorable flows that allowed ancient sailors (Harappans, Arabs, Persians, and later dhow traders) to make efficient round-trip voyages across open sea... something far more difficult without them.

He isn’t wrong here. I remember when I had to write a paper on the history of the UAE, I interviewed an older Emirati who lived through the independence era. One thing he told me that stuck with me was how connected the UAE and India already were even before the federation. Because trade with India was so common back then, a lot of Emiratis actually spoke Hindi or at least understood parts of it. Even the language reflected it. Older Emiratis (even when I was younger) used to say “ربيا” for money because the Gulf Rupee was literally used before the dirham existed. And people forget, back then the TV channels we had were mostly Indian channels too. Indian movies, music, shows, all of it was part of everyday life here for a lot of families. The UAE before oil was a trading society. Our connection to India wasn’t some modern political thing, it was generations of business, travel, trade, and people crossing the same ocean long before modern borders and passports existed.
Majed@971AlSaadi

People talk about UAE India ties like they started yesterday Arab traders were sailing to India before half the modern world even existed

My nephew is one of the sharpest, most talented doctors I have ever seen. A young guy who’s already earning massive respect from even the most senior clinicians purely on merit. Our family runs a solid hospital back home with some genuinely excellent doctors. He’s been a topper his entire life, crushed 5.5 years of medicine at the top of his game, and has been grinding for AIIMS PG seats. But the rotten, rigged system keeps fucking him over with its endless reservations and restrictions for the general category, deliberately holding him back to prop up people who couldn’t carry his skillset on their worst day. And he is not alone, there are thousands like him, getting fucked by the rotten system, every single day. He is already wasting prime years in this collapsing shithole of a system. I am pushing hard for him to get the fuck out of India before it destroys him completely, because that’s exactly what happens to almost every bright student here. You will slave away, stay at the mercy of a corrupt state and its goon enablers who treat doctors like disposable cattle, and watch your life drain away while the clowns in charge keep inventing fresh excuses to cover their incompetence. Please excuse my French but @ajeetbharti is not wrong calling them MACROHARD. Leave. The system isn’t going to fix itself.

Congratulations to Dr. @himantabiswa Ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Assam. As Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji’s vision of a Viksit Bharat places renewed emphasis on the transformative potential of the Northeast, Assam continues to emerge as a major driver of growth, connectivity and opportunity. Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma Ji’s leadership, administrative commitment and deep connect with the people have contributed significantly to this journey of progress. I am certain that Assam will continue to achieve new milestones of prosperity and development in the years ahead.

There is no 'race' or 'ethnicity' as the Kashmiris. By the way, they carry quarter of Ancient Ancestral South Indian genes in their DNA. They speak an indo-european language with basis in Sanskrit with Persian influences due to invasions and conversions. Islam destroys the roots of people and binds them to venerate one prophet without whom they can't worship god.

It is not the numbers that matter. Hindus were still slaughtered by small armies of fanatical muslims. You are trying to play a simple number game where indoctrination, ideology and subversion are weapons that sheer numbers can't beat. In fact, the numbers make hindus a target for dividing on caste and other faultlines.

🚨 Islamic NATO in making? Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Qatar military strength in focus 👉 Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif recently suggested that Qatar and Turkiye could join the existing defense pact between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, in what could finally morph into an “Islamic NATO.” What are the combat capabilities of the potential members of such a military alliance? 🇵🇰 Pakistan ▪️ Army: ~600,000 active personnel ▪️ Main battle tanks: Over 2,600 (Al-Khalid, Type 85) ▪️ Combat aircraft: ~500 (JF-17, F-16, Mirage) ▪️ Navy: ~120 vessels (frigates, submarines, patrol ships) ⚠️ Nuclear warheads: ~170 📍 Only Muslim-majority nuclear-armed nation and sixth-largest nuclear power globally   🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia ▪️ Army: ~247,000 active personnel ▪️ Main battle tanks: ~1,100 (M1 Abrams, AMX-30) ▪️ Combat aircraft: ~300 (F-15, Eurofighter Typhoon, Tornado) ▪️ Navy: Over 100 vessels (frigates, corvettes, minehunters) ▪️ Air defense systems: ~36 batteries (Patriot, THAAD, MIM-23 Hawk) 💰 Largest military budget in the Arab world; heavily modernized with Western equipment 🇹🇷 Turkiye ▪️ Army: ~480,000 active personnel ▪️ Main battle tanks: Over 2,200 (Leopard 2, M60) ▪️ Combat aircraft: ~250 (F-16, F-4) ▪️ Navy: ~200 vessels (frigates, corvettes, submarines, fast-attack craft) ▪️ Air defense systems: ~10 batteries  (HISAR, S-400) 🇶🇦 Qatar ▪️ Army: ~26,500 active personnel ▪️ Main battle tanks: Up to 62 (Leopard 2) ▪️ Combat aircraft: Over 100 (F-15, Typhoon, Mirage) ▪️ Navy: Over 100 (patrol and support ships) ▪️ Air defense systems: ~11 batteries (Patriot) 🪖 All this shows that if the Islamic NATO project is implemented, it could become a significant military force in the Muslim world, capable of influencing regional security from the Persian Gulf to South Asia.

🇵🇰🤝🇸🇦 New partners may sign onto current Pakistani-Saudi defense pact Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, has stated that Qatar and Turkiye may soon join the existing defense pact between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. 🗣️“This arrangement has been partially finalized; it is in the process,” Asif stated. 🔸Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed their mutual defense treaty in September 2025, under which an attack on either country is considered an attack on both. 🔸In January, Pakistan’s Minister of Defense Production, Raza Hayat Hiraj revealed that Turkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia had drafted a trilateral defense agreement after nearly a year of talks. 🔸During Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visits to Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Qatar in April, news emerged that Doha would also be ready to join such a pact.

When Udayanidhi Stalin repeatedly attacks "sanathanam" in Tamil, why is there not more outrage among the highly religious Tamil Hindu population? I believe it comes down to language. In Tamil language, the word "sanathanam" (eternal in English) is not in regular use. Most Tamil people do not know this word and I did not know it myself as a child. On the other hand the word "dharma" (spelled as "dharmam" or "dharumam") is common in Tamil and there is a district named Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu. There is also the word "aram" used in Tamil with the same meaning as dharma. Interestingly, in Hindi, the word "dharam" means "religion" in general and Hinduism is "hindu dharm" or "sanatan dharam" and Christianity is "isai dharam" in Hindi. But in Tamil usage, the word "dharmam" would effectively mean "Hindu dharam" in Hindi. Now if Udayanidhi had attacked "dharmam" in Tamil (which effectively means Hinduism) he would be widely criticised for proclaiming adharmam. That is why he is picking the word "sanathanam" to attack because that word is not widely known in Tamil. With all his "sincere" effort, he is making the word known in Tamil too and he has made the already huge anti DMK vote in Tamil Nadu even bigger. The DMK has never won a majority on its own ever, because of that huge strong anti-DMK current. They established that current with their constant attacks on Hindu deities. The AIADMK never did that and they harvested the anti-DMK current well. Now, in spite of the TVK being the new anti-DMK party and in spite of the AIADMK splitting the anti-DMK vote (see how I worked it!) and in spite of the DMK spending extraordinary amounts of cash, in spite of the DMK having a strong alliance and the TVK having no alliance, the DMK lost the election. Udayanidhi wants to ensure the DMK would never come back. May the eternal sanatana dharma grant his wish 🙏😉

@WillmooreK_OK The caste system was a system of exclusion, that rose later. Slavery is forcible integration into the owner's property system. QUite the opposite. Also, all castes could govern themselves, marry, enjoy religious freedoms of worshipping their own dieties and be autonomous.
