ملغيه : في المسودة الأصلية، لم يكن كريس هو من ينقذ كلير. كان المخطط أن يقوم "ستيف بورنسايد" بخيانة كلير في النهاية وتسليمها لويسكر مقابل نجاة والده. كان هذا سيجعل كلير تتحول إلى "عدو" في الجزء القادم بعد غسل دماغها من قبل أمبريلا.
ا غيّر الكُتاب القصة ليجعلوها "مأساوية" بموت ستيف، لأنهم أرادوا الحفاظ على صورة كلير كـ "بطلة نقية" لا تشوبها شائبة، ولأن "رابطة الدم" بين كريس وكلير كانت أقوى تسويقياً للعبة.
