Most YouTube videos don’t lose viewers because of editing. They lose them in the first 10 seconds because the hook has no tension.

@NexoraVisuals 100%. Fast cuts work for shorts, but long-form is more about flow than speed.

Please stop cutting up long-forms like they’re IG reels, let the video breathe so it’s easier to digest for the viewer. Those milliseconds don’t matter as much in a 15 min video as in a 30 second one. Make it feel natural

You’re not doing enough outreach. If I send 50 cold messages a day and you send 5, I have 10x more shots. I don’t even have to be better than you. Volume wins early on. 2. You get trials but not high-paying clients? Your skills aren't there yet. You’re "improving" videos, building before/afters, maybe even grinding $50-$150 gigs. But the top editors you're watching that succeed? They're better. Plain and simple. So here’s what to do: 🟢Stop doing $50-$150 jobs. 🟢Spend 40+ hours only on learning. 🟢Study sound design. 🟢Study storytelling. 🟢Learn advanced editing techniques. Yes, it’s boring. No, it’s not supposed to be fun. But this is how you leap from $50-$150/video to $500–$800/video. 3. You want better clients? Do both. Level up your skills. Keep reaching out. Then replace your bad clients with good ones. No fake promises. Don’t sell results you can’t deliver. Short-term wins from overpromising lead to long-term headaches. Clients leave. Reputation drops. The only reason I landed “dream clients” is because: I was paying attention when they needed help and I was good enough to deliver when I got the chance That’s it.

Dialogue beats music. If you’re straining to hear words, pull the music down. I’ve often found that people’s music is either too loud or too quiet, find the balance & make it a prerequisite for all content. Obvious sure, but I see it a lot.
