On EV Targets ......

That would be the civil service idea of 'racing to complete', what industry would refer to as 'take as long as you need, no rush'.
How hard is it to simply scrap the ZEV mandate
They can’t be serious, but they really are !
Don’t you know that the civil service is ‘world class’? Erm but first we need to let Civil Service staff have paid days off to play in team golf days all ‘on the clock’ (so long as you have a handicap) very inclusive eh? Oh and don’t forget the evening meals, the presentations and over night hotel accommodation, all on the tax payers expense.
Then they need to attend the dept ‘meetings’ for 300 staff who travel from all over the country by train and are all sent by taxi from New Street station to a suburban hotel in Birmingham for two nights, with team building events involving making structures from marshmallows and kebab sticks? Still happening.
Then there is the days of time spent in preparation of free food buffets to celebrate diversity? It is still happening.

What loon thought that mandating and fining suppliers to sell something that consumers don’t want is a sure sign of economic illiteracy !!!
