Career news🏈 I'm thrilled to join @espn/@ESPNPR as a Communications Manager, leading @CollegeGameDay (football) comms and supporting ESPN’s college sports portfolio. Growing up in a college football family, this opportunity is truly a dream. Can't wait to get started!

The #Falcons are expected to hire Wisconsin wide receivers coach Jordan Reid as assistant quarterbacks coach, sources tell me and @TheRealNickOsen. The Georgia native and ex-Ohio standout receiver worked at Western Michigan for two years before joining the staff at Wisconsin.

We need more athletes like Karlyn Pickens in college sports. "I would rather finish my career at a program that I have helped and contributed to, rather than possibly end my career with a big trophy in my hand that I didn't necessarily put all my energy towards." #LadyVols

LEGENDARY: Carolina #Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan has had one hell of a rookie season. • 70 receptions • 1,012 receiving yards (Team rookie record) • 7 touchdowns • 14.4 yards per reception McMillan is looking like one of the best young receivers in the league.

If you told me a decade ago when I finished playing ball: “You’ll be the AD at ULM in a decade, make a plan to get there…” I would’ve screwed it up 8 ways to tomorrow. God always a plan & I feel so grateful He led that path here. What an awesome day in Monroe. Now let’s work!

For anyone trying to break into this industry: relationships often matter just as much, if not more, than résumés. We recently had a Personnel GA opening and had 700+ applicants. Plenty were qualified. But in a relationship-driven field, trusted recommendations carry real weight. We leaned on referrals from coaches and staff we already know and trust. Advocating for yourself is important, but this profession is a long game. The people who stand out are the ones who invest in real relationships over time. Engage with programs. Follow their seasons. Interact with their posts. Send a quick congrats or good luck. Ask thoughtful questions. Connect on things beyond football. A cold DM might work once in a while, but consistent, authentic touchpoints open far more doors. Lean into relationships. Opportunities follow.
