Honestly man if it wasn’t for Islam, the trials of this world and the struggles within myself would have torn me apart long ago Quite literally the only thing keeping me functioning, stable and sane - by the will of Allah - is this religion Like pieces of fabric stitched together being pulled apart by everything around them, but the stitching is too strong to let them fall apart For Every bad thing that happens, that has happened, and is due to happen, whereas before I would despair and think “why me” Now it’s “Alhamdulillah, there is/was/will be wisdom in this even if I can’t see it” All of it now weighs so much less on my shoulders So whatever it is you’ve had going on Chapters with no closure Questions with no answers Tunnels with seemingly no light at the end of them I promise you The answer isn’t at the bottom of a bottle or a pack of cigarettes It’s not in an endless chain of meaningless sex or avoidance and escapism disguised as fun And it’s not in another person The answer is in Islam It always has been Always will be
