Jamal Musiala will skip Germany's upcoming games as a precautionary measure. Julian Nagelsmann made the decision in close consultation with FC Bayern and the medical teams [@cfbayern]
Uli Hoeneß had increasingly pushed for cost-cutting measures, pointing out that not much was left of FC Bayern's fixed deposit account. Nevertheless, there's something that allows the club's bosses to sleep soundly. According to @SPORTBILD, there's a second "fixed deposit account" that the club could access if necessary. The Allianz Arena GmbH (company with limited liability) has a nine-figure sum of liquid assets [@cfbayern]
DFB referees' spokesman Alex Feuerherdt responds to Uli Hoeneß' criticism of the referee and says Luis Díaz's ban is likely to stand: "Maybe his opinion was influenced by the fact that the majority of the decisions went against FC Bayern. But we are by no means talking about scandalous errors here. The second yellow card was a factual decision by the referee. Such factual decisions are generally final, therefore, except in cases of serious errors such as mistaken identity, the suspension usually stands." [@KilianKreit]
Canada head coach Jesse Marsch confirms that Alphonso Davies won't be called up for this month's international games: "I spoke to him today. He’s obviously down and frustrated a little bit, but he said this little injury, compared to even the one he experienced a month ago is much less severity. He’ll probably be 2, 3 weeks before he’s back again. He’s probably not going to be with us for March, which is okay. We’ll probably leave him there in Munich and make sure he gets himself fully fit and fully back to 100%, but I’m confident he will do that." [@TSN_Sports]
Julian Nagelsmann confirms that Leroy Sané will play a role in Germany's upcoming games: "We don't have many players with his profile who often cut inside from the right wing. If his health holds up, he can be a very important player for us. We have a great relationship, and Leroy has played some great games. He's doing well at Galatasaray"
However, Nagelsmann emphasized that Sané is a bit unpredictable "Let's be honest - we never know 100% what he'll ultimately bring to the pitch"
