Beyond Tribe and Tongue Nigeria is not the only nation shaped by a mosaic of tribes, languages, and religions. Around the world, several countries with similar diversity are striving—often successfully—to turn it into a source of strength rather than division. India serves as a classic example. Despite a landmass nearly three and a half times larger than Nigeria's and being home to many religions and cultures, India has evolved into a global benchmark for democracy. With a population exceeding one billion people and close to one billion registered voters—of whom about 700 million typically participate in elections—it has established a system widely regarded as free, fair, and credible. Its electoral processes are conducted with remarkable efficiency, often recorded in real-time and largely free of glitches. Beyond the ballot, India has emerged as a global leader in STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—while also transforming its healthcare system, extending medical insurance to over 50% of its vast population. These achievements are not accidental; they result from deliberate efforts to strengthen the centripetal forces—those elements that bind a nation together—rather than amplify the centrifugal impulses of division that continue to challenge us. When I advocate for the unity of Nigeria, I do so with deep sincerity and conviction. Our cohesion is an indispensable foundation for peaceful coexistence, sustainable development, and enduring national stability. I urge my fellow Nigerians to reflect on the example of India—a nation with a far larger population and an even more intricate web of ethnic and religious diversity—yet one that continues to forge unity from complexity. Ultimately, the true fault lines in our national life are neither tribal nor religious. No tribe or religion enjoys cheaper food in the market, nor is any group more secure than another. Our real challenge lies in competence, capacity, compassion, and the commitment to build a better country. Only then can we move beyond tribe and tongue and create a nation that truly works for all. With the right leadership, a new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

OK Mr. Thεό Abu, Theo Abu Agada, the man whose bio proudly proclaims “Christian | Conservative | Husband | Devoted Father | Media Consultant | #Jesus | #Hope … Extremely Rich in GRACE.” One would expect at least a trace of grace to accompany that résumé. Instead, what we get is selective outrage and historical amnesia. For 24 long years, your party, the PDP, presided over the systematic decay of Abia. Roads collapsed. Infrastructure rotted. Governance became a punchline. The state even earned the humiliating reputation of being among the filthiest in the country. During all those years of decline, you were conspicuously silent. No prophetic anger. No moral lectures. No social media sermons. But now that Alex Otti has begun reversing decades of neglect, cleared mountains of refuse, rebuilt critical roads, restoring confidence, stabilized power in Aba, and attracting industries back, suddenly your voice returns, not with honesty but with sneering contempt. Your complaint about who gets credit for a beverage plant would be amusing if it were not so revealing. Because the real discomfort here is not about timelines of a factory project. It is about the fact that a government you did not support, who came to power on the back of the Obidient Movement, is succeeding where the one you defended failed spectacularly. So spare everyone the theatrics. A man like you who watched 24 years of ruin in silence but finds his voice only when recovery begins is not defending truth. He is defending a political grievance. And when someone’s bio is full of "Jesus", "hope", and "grace" but their public commentary is driven by bitterness and partisan spite, the conclusion writes itself. Not a prophet. Not a moral voice. You're just another partisan operative hack pretending to be principled.

Ogun State has attracted countless private companies coming to invest in the state in recent times. Kogi State, my state, is also attracting many private investments. The same applies to Benue, Enugu, Imo, and several other states. Meanwhile, in Abia State, a beverage company that has been constructing its plant for years in Aba has finally opened for operations and these ones are telling us it was Alex Otti who built the Beverage plant. Aproject that started way before the man became a governor. What sort of devilish propaganda is this? Abia State is truly cursed.

@Ihunanya_chi "You didn't do the hard part... relationship with God... repentance.. intimacy..." This is where we Christians seems to get it wrong. We tend to think God is a magician. Or a random emergency number that we only need when we are in distress. I pray for the spirit of intimacy .

Title: I Prayed with Alligator Pepper at 3AM… and It Worked! Yes, you read that headline correctly. Walk with me, and I’ll show you how alligator pepper “opened doors” in my life… Now, before you get too excited, let me tell you something very important: You have to understand, Satan is not just “a bad guy”he’s basically the OG strategist. I mean, the guy has been roaming the earth since forever. Ancient! Meanwhile, we humans are barely hitting a hundred years in age. So yes, he knows way more tricks than we do. A lot more. Here’s how he works: think about how we set traps for fowls. You lay some food down, and before you know it, the chicken is caught. That’s literally Satan’s playbook. He doesn’t come in shouting “I am the devil, follow me!” no, he’s subtle. He entices. He offers shortcuts. And at first, it seems harmless, even helpful. For example, imagine you’ve been praying for open doors. You’ve been fasting, praying, maybe even crying to bed. But here’s the problem, you didn’t do the hard part. You didn’t build a relationship with God. You skipped repentance. You skipped intimacy. You didn’t walk the way you were supposed to. You just showed up and said, “God, open door for me, make my life perfect, ASAP!” And when nothing happens… frustration sets in. It’s like being a parent with a child who never calls you back. You’ve done everything, shown love, reached out, made sure they have what they need, and nothing works. Then suddenly, one day, your child calls… not to say sorry, not to reconnect, but to ask for money. Even if you have it, would you just give it to them? Of course not! That’s exactly how God works. Blessings are not just given, they are training. God gives us what we can handle, what we’re ready for. If you skip the process with Him, the blessings are withheld because you’re not ready to use them properly. And here’s where Satan comes in. You’ve been praying, fasting, crying, and nothing seems to work. You start thinking, “Maybe God doesn’t exist. Maybe He doesn’t care.” And then, right on cue, a friend shows up. And this friend has a “shortcut” for you. Maybe it’s a story like this: “I was broke once, prayed every day, God didn’t answer me. But then I found a trick, wake up at 3 a.m., chew five alligator peppers, read a chapter in Psalms, manifest my blessings, and it works fast. Trust me, it will work for you too!” You think about it, and you say, “Well… okay. Can’t hurt to try, right?” Next thing you know, you’re awake at 3 a.m., chewing peppers like a daredevil, and start manifesting your blessings. You can barely stay awake for normal prayer, fasting, or reading the Bible, but suddenly you’re alert and motivated for the shortcut. And boom 💥 it works… Doors start opening, money comes in, things improve. Life seems easier. And then the real danger begins. Gradually, your focus shifts. You start looking for shortcuts for every problem. You begin exploring methods and solutions that have nothing to do with God. You forget prayer. You forget the church. You forget intimacy with God. You think you’ve found a “fast lane” to blessings. And the scary thing? Satan makes it look harmless, even exciting. “Wow, it worked!” you say. “This is amazing!” Meanwhile, every shortcut slowly pulls you away from the One who truly blesses. This was me once. I was desperate, impatient, wanting the benefits of God’s blessings without the effort of a relationship with Him. I wanted to live life my way, but still have “shortcut” access to God. Thankfully, God’s saving grace caught me before it was too late. I learned that shortcuts never work. They never satisfy. They may give temporary success, but they always come with hidden consequences. If you’ve made it this far, don’t stop, head to the comments for more insights and surprises I’m unpacking!👇

To be fair… Nigeria isn’t as affected as many other countries. This is not in defence of anything — yall know me here, that I hate this administration… But we have to be fair. Today, fuel is $1.769 per Litre, before the war, it was $1.126 — that’s a 57% increase in just a month. This is biting hard right now but we bless God for His faithfulness. In Nigeria, it was $900 before the war & now $1,300 — that’s a 44% increase. Truth is that, right now, there is nothing any government can do about it. We just pray everything gets resolved & things go back to normal.
YabaLeftOnline@yabaleftonline

I'm mentally stressed. Today, I bought petrol for over ₦1,300. There's no light, and I've been running generator back to back. I don't understand why Nigeria is one of the first countries to be affected by the w+r in Iran — Actor Kunle Remi.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I WILL PRAY the FATHER, and HE WILL GIVE YOU another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. John 14:15-16 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and bring to your REMEMBRANCE all things that I said to you. John 14:26 The term Spirit or holy spirit is a general term in the old testament to refer to someone from God. In John 14 this spirit will teach you ALL THINGS that Jesus never taught. What NEW THINGS has the Christian version of the Holy Spirit taught that Jesus never taught? "It is certainly We Who have revealed the REMINDER, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it." Quran 15:9. In John 14:26 this spirit will bring a REMINDER because people will corrupt or forget the real teachings of Christ.

Muslim: Why do you hate Muhammad so much? You know Muhammad is Jesus brother i know your pastors will not tell you this. Me: Hate??, that word is too big for this me 😅 I don’t hate anyone. I just don’t agree with him, and no, brother where how??? he’s definitely not Jesus brother. Muslim: But the Bible confirmed Muhammed. Even Jesus spoke about him, the helper that will come and teach everything. Me: Ah yes… the “helper.” The one Jesus said He would send. So unless Jesus is now doing Allah’s job by sending Muhammed because Jesus clearly said He will send the Helper, that’s the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad 😭 Muslim: See i am not here to debate, you are my sister too just that your problem is you haven’t studied Islam. If you did, you would love Muhammad. Me: Love ke? 😅 the Bible already warned me about false prophets, what exactly am I going to fall in love with? Muslim: Muhammad spoke the truth. A false prophet can’t tell people to do good. Me: So if someone gives you 10% truth and 90% confusion, you’ll still call that truth? That’s like eating rice with stones and saying “at least the rice is nice” 💀 Muslim: You’ve been brainwashed by your pastors. Muhammad was 100% good. He told us to help orphans and widows. Me: Doing some good things doesn’t automatically make someone true. Even bad people can have good moments, it’s not a certificate of authenticity… even satan do stuff that looks good sometimes. 😅 Muslim: How can you say that? What good has Satan ever done?😡😡 Me: Well… convincing people to follow something that looks good on the outside but leads them away from truth is kind of his specialty 😬 Muslim: I thought I was talking to someone sensible. You’re lost. You’ll burn in hell.😡😡 Me: Ahh 😭 what just happened? I thought i was your sister?? How did we go from calm conversation to “hellfire” in 2 seconds… who knocked the engine? Muslim: Your hate won’t stop Islam. It’s growing. Christianity is failing. Me: Growth isn’t always a sign of truth. Even Jesus said the wide road is the popular one… so numbers don’t really impress us 🤷‍♂️ Muslim: Mrs Paul, Paul worshipper. What did do wrong? What exactly did i say wrong? 😐

This is simple. That’s the Muslim position: if the Bible has these errors, it means it’s not perfectly preserved and cannot be fully the word of God. If you have errors in small things like these, how do you know you don’t have errors in bigger ones? The best advice is simple: set aside the arrogance and follow the perfect revelation that has no errors. Now, about Numbers 31:17-18 — you’re being hypocritical! The text doesn’t say “save the virgin girls” for their protection. It literally says “Keep alive for yourselves” the virgin young girls. If you were a virgin back then, you would have been taken and r@ped. And the worst part? The same verse commands the killing of the women, children, and babies. Why would God give such a brutal command? No wonder so many of you today side with the Israeli government while they genocide children around the world. Don’t come here trying to wash away these brutal verses that your Jesus commanded in the Bible…you’ll only embarrass yourself.

This guy slid into my DMs @zhangyong02, and he went full Muslim, lol. He tried to convince me that the Bible has contradictions and errors, citing 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles, issues that have long been debunked and explained as simple copyist errors. We never claimed the Bible was directly written by God; it was inspired by God and recorded by men, so of course there might be human errors. I even pointed out an error in the Quran, but he brushed it off as no big deal. Then he brought up Numbers 31:17-18, claiming God condoned rape of young girls, but that’s a classic example of taking scripture out of context to defend Islam. In Numbers 31:17-18, God commanded Israel to destroy the Midianite men and sexually active women because of their sin and corruption. The young virgin girls were spared to be integrated into Israelite society. It has nothing to do with rape. Meanwhile, they conveniently forget that Allah allowed Muhammad, the so-called “best example for mankind” to keep female slaves for sex. So they have no problem with that, but suddenly Numbers 31:17-18 becomes an issue. Double standards much?

Jesus said He is the I AM. Jesus said He gives eternal life. Jesus said He is the resurrection and the life. Jesus said He is the good shepherd. Jesus said He is the living water. Jesus said He is the first and the last. Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus said He is the beginning and the end. Jesus said He is the Alpha and the Omega. After seeing all these, and much more, I’ve come to this conclusion: Jesus is God, and one day every knee will bow to Him. And that’s what’s up📌

We don’t go around making noise that Christianity is the fastest growing faith. Truth doesn’t need constant reminders. Truth doesn’t need speakers. Truth doesn’t need campaigns. Jesus is appearing to people in places like Iran and Pakistan, in countries where the gospel is restricted. Many people are coming to faith through personal encounters and experiences . Jesus is moving in hearts everywhere… and it might be you next.👇

Different moments show different human qualities, not superiority. When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saw signs in nature, he showed humility and awareness of Allah’s power—not weakness. At the same time, his complete trust is clear in critical moments. During the Hijrah, when his companion Abu Bakr was afraid, the Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not fear, indeed Allah is with us.” (Qur’an 9:40) This shows both awareness of Allah’s might and الكامل trust in His protection. So Islam teaches balance: humility before Allah and الكامل confidence in Him—not fear without faith, nor confidence without awareness.

When Muhammad saw dark clouds and strong winds, he became frightened, showing signs of anxiety, thinking it might be a divine punishment or allah’s judgement. He left Islam for Jesus‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Born and raised in a Muslim family, he hated Christians and even went as far as stoning them. He didn’t stop there, he even made a song mocking Christianity and our beliefs. But God, in His mercy, said: “My son, you belong to Me. The same mouth you used to mock Me, you will use to testify of Me.” And just like that, BOOM 💥 Today, he is born again, boldly testifying of Jesus. Jesus is real. 🙌

Yes Jesus as a muslim said this👇 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13 He also said this as a true Muslim “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:17-18 According to this verses He is Allah.😌

What you've done is not kindness. What you've done is you've destabilised a stable priced market. It takes a plumber less than 10 minutes to fix a tap head. If tap heads are all they fixed all day in a 12-hour work window with a 30-minute break, they'd have spent 690 minutes fixing approximately between 60-70 tap heads. If they charged N1500 for each fix, that'd amount to somewhere between 90 to 105 thousand Naira in a day's job. Even on a bad day, they'd go home with at least N30,000, which would average around 700k in a month. Mind you, that plumber has likely laid foundation work for a 6-bedroom bungalow in his hometown while you still toil to pay the ever rising rent in the one-bedroom apartment where you live and spending money on fine dining to keep up a lifestyle that you've unwittingly saddled yourself with. What you've done is rooted in classism because you think that you, in your corporate outfits slaving away daily in your white collar job, have more financial freedom than him because he works his blue collar job in raggedy clothing, albeit intentionally tailored to make you react in the exact manner that you have.

Yesterday i called a plumber to fix my tap head that got bad. He did a very excellent job within few minutes, i asked him how much,i had already set aside 10k budget plus or minus....he said N1500😳. In my head i said what would N1500 do for a family head like this....considering how honest he was as an artisan, i wired him 5k to his Opay account. His next reaction was epic. He instantly, tried to bend with one knee in appreciation. I told him no, no, oga sir we don't do like that here, thank you too. His happiness gave me another level of chilling emotions i could not explain and wished I had made it 10k. Yes, even in an era of digital skill awareness, we still need: 👉🏾Capenters 👉🏾Mechanics 👉🏾Plumbers 👉🏾Coblers 👉🏾Painters 👉🏾Nail technicians etc Learn to give them something extra.

Do you know why islamists are very conscious of numbers and are quick to tell us islam is the fastest growing religion? It's because of political Islam. They are told to conquer, dominate, and rule the world. Their concern for number is not because of righteousness or holiness. It's just politics.

We went to access the ICC Awka, Anambra state which is our venue for South East Educators Conference in April 16 & 17. The conference is the most important education gatherings in the region, creating a platform for deep reflection, practical learning, collaboration, and bold thinking about what it will take to prepare a new generation for the future. The conference is built on a clear long-term mission: to help build the greatest workforce from Africa within the next 10 years. We believe this mission begins with educators. No region can build a globally competitive workforce without first strengthening the quality, mindset, tools, and vision of those who teach and shape young people every day. The conference is not just an event. It is a movement to reposition educators as builders of the future and to ensure that the South East becomes a leading centre of talent development in Africa within 10 years. The quality of education in any society is directly tied to the quality of its educators. If the South East must produce exceptional talent, globally competitive youth, and a future-ready workforce, then educators must be equipped, inspired, connected, and empowered at scale.
