🏅#NECBaseball Pitcher of the Week🏅 🧢Kieran Etwaru, @DSUHornets ✍️Etwaru was in top form during his 1st start of the season against Charleston Southern. He allowed just 2 hits over 6.0 innings and struck out 7 while issuing 3 walks. He had a .833 WHIP and got the W.

🏅#NECBaseball Player of the Week🏅 🧢Chris Amparo, @DSUHornets ✍️In DSU’s opening series vs. Charleston Southern, Amparo hit .545 with 2 doubles, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. His most impressive stat line came in a 8-3 win as he slugged 2 homers and drove in 3 runs in a 4-4 day.

Tim Tyler (‘24, DE) worked the upper-80s up to 90 mph on the FB from the left side today. Some ASR & consistent 20-23” of IVB. Showed a breaker in the mid- to upper-70s w/ spin up to 2,415 RPMs. Also had a CH w/ spin down to 1,778 RPMs, showing good depth. #JMU commit. @PG_NewEngland #WWBAWorlds
