And I know drivers are stubborn when it comes to getting out of the seat but I get a sinus cough and my dr does chest X-rays if my cough is lingering and I certainly don’t race cars.

The family, RCR, & NASCAR were all well aware on what was all going on. It was announced earlier in the week that he was going to miss Charlotte.

@Doxie_Gaming26 @DavidfromMd2 @KyleBusch I didn’t say the shot killed him. I said he obviously needed more than a shot and that required more extensive work up like a chest x ray that would have shown pneumonia. He needed more than a shot from a Physician’s Assistant in Orthopedics

@amarthur76 @DavidfromMd2 @KyleBusch His condition got worse. That's what happens sometimes. Especially when you're going to racetracks, that have elevation changes and major G forces. That can legitimately trigger a condition to be worse. Its a sad deal & they race on.

Bill Heisel is the most prominent sports PA in racing and has worked with a lot of driver and pit crew athletes across NASCAR, IMSA, and more.
I’ve had the privilege of getting rehab work from Bill and his group and they would be the first call if I had pain.

@DavidfromMd2 @KyleBusch KB was sick enough to need a shot immediately after Watkins Glen race, that doctor treating him should have recognized he needed to be hospitalized immediately for IV antibiotics. Is he administering shots without x rays and knowing what was wrong? I don’t get it. wtf?
