The Oklahoma City Thunder showed us all exactly why they’re the Champions tonight! They were down 15-0 to the San Antonio Spurs in the first couple minutes and came back to win the game 123-108. OKC had six players in double figures with big contributions from their bench - Jared McCain had 24 points, Jaylin Williams had 18 points and the NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished a good game with 26 points! I thought the Spurs lost their cool a little bit tonight and that hurt them.

Victor Wembanyama wasn't great enough tonight. 26 points but only 15 shots. Only 4 boards. Nowhere near as active as Game 2 - nevermind how ferocious he was in Game 1's double OT win. OKC is doing an excellent job on D but Wemby might be exhausted too. Bottom line he needs to reach a higher level for San Antonio to win this series especially given the backcourt injuries.

caruso’s evolution is fascinating bc seeing him now it might not be evident that he was a *fantastic* college PG. not a big time scorer but a steady hand on some talented TAMU teams. compressed all of that IQ/feel into a role player. requires humility/awareness/buy-in to do that.
