After 4.5 years building @MicrosoftTeams, I’m leaving Microsoft. It’s been a ride of a lifetime scaling Teams to serve 320M+ people. I brought my consumer DNA into the reality of enterprise scale and complexity, and learned a ton along the way. With AI, we’re still in the early innings of a major platform shift. I wanted to step back, reset, and approach this moment with a fresh perspective. I’m convinced the hardest and most interesting work in AI right now is turning powerful models into products people can use everyday. Curious to explore where that leads. Grateful to the incredible Teams team, and to @jeffteper, @satyanadella, and @ryanroslansky (who first introduced me to this opportunity) for the trust, support and sponsorship. Onward! Happy New Year! This will be a big year for agents with #MicrosoftTeams as the place where people and agents work together across chats, channels, and meetings to get more done and #SharePoint as the "repo" for IW agents that helps orgqnizations build, organize, and discover knowledge.
