I’m so excited for our school to embark on the official beginning of our Leader in Me journey this school year! We had a lot of fun and learned so much at our Core 1 training!

I have been participating in the LETRS training along with my teachers. As a leader, I believe it is extremely important to learn alongside your staff. This was always modeled to me as a teacher and it was appreciated! I’m addition, this has been a fabulous training!!

I’m excited for my next summer read!

I grew up in the housing projects on public assistance, but it didn’t mean that I wasn’t capable or worthy of high-quality instruction. — There is a great deal of potential in our children. Let us not allow poverty to distort how we view the children we are charged to serve.

Educators need to keep fighting the good fight. It’s worth it.

You can RISE and WHINE or RISE and SHINE. Decide to shine today! 1. Focus on the positives. 2. Replace “Have to” with “Get to.” 3. Count your blessings. 4. Choose faith instead of fear. 5. See your challenges as opportunities for growth. 6. Believe the best is yet to come.

A team that loves each other doesn’t need a lot of rules to be accountable. If you love each other you’ll want to be your best for each other. The key is to have standards and expectations.
