@RCNNRN I felt slightly more apprehensive regarding my clinical decisions but other than that I’ve felt okay! It’s been a long time coming and I’m so happy it’s finally here!

@StNurseProject I was told I should work on a ward for a year before applying to work in the community!! After speaking to my (now) employer I realised there was no need and that I would be well supported by going straight to the community!

What do you think about being told you should work somewhere else before you work in your dream area? I was told the other day before I apply for A&E I should do a year each in surgery, medicine, critical care and AMU, despite this being my worse nightmare! #StNProject

Today is the first day in my entire 3 years as an STN that I’ve been offered a debrief! This is exactly why I chose debriefing as my dissertation topic, because despite going through trauma many times in the past, I’ve never been debriefed until now. #studentnurse
