Honestly, I have to applaud Nigerian women for successfully brainwashing Nigerian men for years into believing that: A broke girl from a poor family brings "good luck" into a man’s life, "Happy wife, happy home", God answers a woman’s prayers faster,

Call this a hot take, but I will never condemn any woman who dumps a man after he finishes sponsoring her through school. Because what exactly do you expect? You raise a woman to the point where you are now below her standards, often while ignoring your own growth, and you expect her to still stoop low and be with you? Unless we want to lie to ourselves, it is not in women’s nature to respect and submit to a man below them in status. Submission does not happen for them simply because they want it to. You must be at a level, as a man, where they can look up to you for them to be able to do such. And let’s face it, men who do this, what exactly is your aim? You want to labour for a few years and see her through school so she can earn well enough to take care of you and your children for the rest of her life, while you no longer have to do your mechanic work? It has never worked, and it will never work for you. Now that she has become a graduate with good prospects, enough to get a job and easily pay you back twice what you spent on her, you want her to remain miserable with you for the rest of her life while struggling to respect and submit to you? To be truthful, it is not fair to her. It is even better if she dumps you, because if she marries you out of guilt, you will live to regret that marriage. If you, as a man, were foolish enough to sponsor a woman who is not your family through school while ignoring your own growth, expecting her to happily marry you and you got disappointed... Just count your losses, learn your lesson, and move on. Maybe, just maybe she will pay you back And if you are a man still thinking of doing such, Just do not.
