For Governor @biodunaoyebanji, leadership is service, not a title. For over 17 years, he has remained focused on one thing: delivering results that improve lives. His leadership is built on experience, attention to detail, and decisions guided by facts, not noise. For him, excellence is not about headlines. It is about impact for the majority. Every policy, every project, and every intervention begins with one question: How does this serve the people? Compassionate. Experienced. Focused. Delivering a future that works for all. #BACK2BACK #BAO2BAO

It has been alleged that Abimbola Adekanmbi who was commissioner for finance in Senator Ajimobi’s second term is the Oyo State Governor’s preferred candidate for the PDP. It is also alleged that Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, who also served as Special Adviser Works and Transport to Governor Ajimobi is the preferred Deputy Governorship candidate. While Engr. Open Salawu decamped to the PDP in 2022 after a failed House of Representatives aspiration, the preferred Gubernatorial candidate, Adekanmbi decamped to the PDP in November 2025. We look forward to interesting political season ahead!

Jigawa State is emerging as a leading example of agricultural transformation under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Through massive investments in mechanization, Governor Umar Namadi has positioned the state to tackle food insecurity, create jobs, and modernize farming. With 300 tractors, combined harvesters, boom sprayers, and seeders deployed across the state, Jigawa is moving beyond subsistence farming toward large-scale agricultural productivity. The establishment of 60 service centres across all constituencies, alongside demonstration farms, ensures sustainability and accessibility for farmers. The initiative also prioritizes human capital development. Technicians trained in China have returned to train locals, while hundreds of operators and security personnel have been employed on permanent and pensionable terms. Beyond equipment, the programme represents a strategic investment in food security, youth employment, and rural development. Jigawa’s agricultural revolution demonstrates how visionary leadership and effective use of increased FAAC allocations can drive lasting economic growth and national self-sufficiency. #RenewedHopeInAction

Jakara–Kwarin Gogau–Zungeru Drainage Corridor: An Ecological Intervention | Babajide Fadoju Beyond road infrastructure, the inspection tour also spotlighted a major ecological intervention along the Jakara–Kwarin Gogau–Zungeru drainage corridor, a project linked to federal support under the Renewed Hope framework. The Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Nura Mohammed Hashim, said the 6.7 kilometre drainage system had for decades remained an open waste channel, exposing surrounding communities to environmental hazards including malaria and waterborne diseases. He explained that initial efforts by the state government to cover the drainage were constrained by funding, prompting an appeal for federal assistance. Mr. President approved about N47 billion from ecological funds to enable full completion of this project, Hashim said, describing it as one of the largest environmental interventions in the state. The intervention will bring lasting relief to residents. Unlike the Kafin Chiri Dam irrigation project, which is focused on agriculture and food security, this ecological drainage project is strictly an environmental management initiative designed to control flooding, eliminate open waste channels, and reduce public health risks in urban settlements. Once completed, the drainage system will transform a hazardous environmental threat into a controlled, functional infrastructure asset that protects communities and their property. #TinubuDidIt #RenewedHopeInAction

Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola-Alao: APC’s Strategic Choice for Ibadan North Federal Constituency. As momentum builds toward the 2027 general elections, Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola-Alao has emerged as a leading contender to represent Ibadan North Federal Constituency under the APC. A natural unifier, he is widely respected for embracing party cohesion and consistently embracing internal decisions with maturity. Educated across Nigeria, the UK, and Grenada, where he studied Accounting, he blends global exposure with grassroots understanding. His experience as former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, alongside his leadership in the private sector, reflects both administrative competence and entrepreneurial drive. His Land Empowerment Programme, which provided constituents with documented landed properties, stands as a bold and practical intervention promoting long-term economic stability. Carrying forward the legacy of his late father, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola-Alao, he embodies service, generosity, and community leadership qualities that position him as a credible and unifying choice for effective representation.

🚨 Mikel is FURIOUS : "If you love the club as much as you do, you should say something. The club is going in the wrong direction. I love this football club, it's given me everything. I hope some of my ex-colleagues do the same." "BlueCo don't want anybody who represented the club during the Roman Abramovich era who built the club to what it is today. They don't want those people involved. That's the wrong thing to do, you need those people." “The DNA is GONE. I don’t recognise this Chelsea” (@obionepodcast)

Originally built around 1978, the Kafin Chiri Dam is being revived under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. About N95 billion has been approved for projects across Kano South Senatorial District, covering dams, rural roads, and agricultural support, with N15 billion allocated to the dam and its irrigation systems. The initiative also includes 6,000 tube wells across 16 local government areas to boost irrigation farming. Residents describe it as a major empowerment effort, noting that such intervention has not been seen for a long time. #RenewedHopeInAction
