I like this image. Don’t let your work consume all aspects of life. However, there are times you have to put life on hold to reach your work goals & vice versa. There’s not 1 singular “right path” or right way to do it for everyone.

I love being the Spanish-speaking doctor. It’s incredibly rewarding to help patients feel more comfortable and understood in their own language. I’ve seen how it can make a difference in their understanding of their illness and in sharing their feelings with the team.
