NEW: crooked Trump says he would issue an executive order during his first day in the White House instructing the federal government to deny citizenship to children who were born in the US with parents who are not American citizens. This is blatantly unconstitutional! While on the subject of immigration, remember when it was revealed that Melania Trump worked in the US illegally when she only had a tourist visa? At the time, Donald Trump promised that she’ll hold a press conference “over the next few weeks” to address the issue. 7 years later and we’re still waiting.

The fact that @brotherjones_ knows about Tikkun Olam speaks volumes about what an amazing person he is. Tikkun Olam means “repair the world” in Hebrew. This beautiful human gets it.

BREAKING: Governor Jay Inslee of Washington just signed a bill that will ban assault weapons sales in the state. The law, which passed the House 56-42 last week, also bans the distribution and manufacturing of these weapons. There are over 4 dozen firearms on the list of banned guns. The ban also covers semiautomatic rifles that are fewer than 30 inches long. Additionally specific hand grips and thumbhole stocks are banned. I believe this is a good first step, but a national ban in my opinion would work much better at deterring the use of these weapons.

Wow. This may just be the most powerful announcement video to date. President Biden is making it clear: The 2024 election is about freedom. Its about protecting our rights. It’s about democracy. It’s about rejecting MAGA extremism.

I just want to give a SHOUT OUT to a very popular local Ice Cream parlor here in Fort Myers, called Love Boat. Note that our county has nearly twice as many registered Republicans than Democrats, so this deserves even more praise. Instead of two restrooms, one designated for men and another for women, they simply have two restrooms with this sign next to both. I feel this is a great solution to the transgender bathroom debate, and if one of the most popular Ice Cream parlors in one of the most Red Districts in Florida can do this, anyone can. Their homemade ice cream is amazing by the way.

Wow. Lizzo’s concert in Tennessee last night featured an entire drag performance. This comes at a time when the Tennessee legislature is attacking the LGBTQ+ community. Lizzo is not here for it & we need more people like her.
