During my yearly physical last week they used a stethoscope to listen to my heart and breathing. They did NOT use a tongue depressor to look in my mouth or down my throat. They did not use the instrument that sees inside your ears. They did not check my feet even though I'm type 2 diabetic and they did not palpate my organs.
