@CoachGoomba @AppyJuiice it’s true I played pokemon go for a while before I started getting curious about vgc! but that’s my favorite thing about pokemon, there’s so many ways to enjoy the parts of it that appeal to you and everyone has their own way of interacting with it

@oaliosFPS @AlbralelieVT Compact does what it implies: visuals get better. I was still getting all the ding sounds even in compact though. (But it's all fixed for the moment since they "temporarily" disabled accolades.)

@Respawn @PlayApex Even when the accolades aren't bugging, the audio alerts are really overwhelming and overstimulating. Please allow a toggle off if they ever come back or I will not be able to play the game.

@PlayApex We've temporarily disabled Accolades while we work on this. We'll let you know as soon as they are fixed and we've turned them back on.

We're aware of an issue with Accolades notifications in @PlayApex and are investigating further. We'll let you know as soon as we have a fix for this.

@mutt_of_zaun @C0ozer I switched from "full" to "compact" but that just makes the visual smaller (which is helpful but the audio was the worse part for me) The best I've got is turning sound effects all the way off, if you hear of anything better definitely let me know.

@amieable_ @C0ozer I think I’ve seen some posts on how to turn it off or down, but idk if it actually works. Haven’t been able to try it and probably won’t get to Apex until tomorrow 🥲

Accolades are the worst things to happen to Apex Legends

@mutt_of_zaun @C0ozer My apex literally has no audio because I turned it off to escape accolade overwhelm. My awareness has never been worse. (No audio + everything is smoke and gas.) I'm probably retiring soon if it doesn't get fixed. rip.

@PlayApex Could we have a setting for accolades off in gameplay? Visual/audio overwhelm is too high. I've been trying to play with sound effect volume off but it's not fun. I love the game but this is the worst update since the flashbang tactical on Seer release.

I am able to get out of a very toxic household by getting a collegiate scholarship for apex legends after I got asked to sub in at the ALGS Open by @SabzBear This game turned my life around and I am forever grateful for Sabz and Apex Legends as a whole Move out in 5 days :3
