How the last Iranian Tomcat is moving right now
AMK Mapping 🇳🇿@AMK_Mapping_
An Iranian Air Force F-14AM fighter jet seen landing at Shahid Babaei Airbase in Isfahan, central Iran, earlier tonight, presumably after trying to shoot down U.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles striking coastal areas of Iran.

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG that last part is the hard part that makes it tricky for a study sim. you may wanna put features the jetmaker might object to, and you must signal the authorities that data is derived from public and not proprietary. same reason why DCS Eurofighter is a mishmash of Tranches
English

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG depends, anything can happen behind doors.
for the latter it goes both ways, its usually not wise for module makers to work with jetmakers beyond brand bc then they would be bound to policy. they stick to public domain data so jetmaker has no say to what can or cannot be done
English

Ace Combat 8 developers worked so closely with fighter jet manufacturers it made them wonder, “Are we allowed to know all this?”

English

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG what is it u dont understand lol
PA talks to jetmakers. often they get the privilege to see things. no ones worried bc PA is not trying to replicate
Sim makers must thread a thin line between replication, export control and jetmaker policy. That privilege would be a liability
English

@amimjk @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG "actively avoid these kind contact bc they needed legal clarity that none of their data was derived from proprietary or potentially export-restricted sources."
Yeah, no.
DCS has had ITAR/EAR issues in the past.
This will NEVER be a concern for a AC game.

English

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG DCS/WT and all those study-sim actively avoid these kind contact bc they needed legal clarity that none of their data was derived from proprietary or potentially export-restricted sources.
English

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG i think you are absolutely overthinking about it here lol. some manufacturers would gladly show them the actual interface/employment/tactical systems, doesnt mean PA has to implement or can depict it in the game. no different than Tom Cruise coached to play with rhinos all day
English

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG Ace Combat even back on the PS2 had faithful recreations of models down to how the bleed vents work, also depiction of novel tech (Scinfaxi sublaunched UCAV, CCA, COFFIN cockpit etc) which didnt came out from nowhere, it was the industry showing them whats on shelf
English

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG im saying PA definitely has *access* to more data, except thats not their goal. for an arcade game, visual
accuracy and novel systems concept they could use for bosses/lore. manufacturers like collab with them vs WT/DCS bc the final product isnt going to tip off sensitive info
English

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG you might be right in 2020+, but these people do it since 1999, when internet OSINT did not exist. They have access to SDF and manufacturers. they seen the GCAP prototype in Warton. they had collabs with MoD's ATLA. they have more access than any DCS dev ever would lol
English

@RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG You can find out almost anything about current in-service American aircraft with OSINT. Anything that takes off with experimental or testing configurations gets photographed publicly. We got a picture of an Super Bug with a AIM-174B Gunslinger long before it was ever announced.

kebanyakan masih open loop dan kalau balak pasir pon payah nak regulate jgn haraplah nak enforce closed loop kat company bilion bilion
Roman Akramovich@SyedAkramin
Data Centre guna air kitar semula melalui sistem closed-loop. Air sejuk akan serap haba, kemudian mengalir ke ‘chiller’ untuk disejukkan semula. Macam radiator kereta lah. Kau ingat Data Centre guna air buat minum ke? Haha 😂
