for the latter it goes both ways, its usually not wise for module makers to work with jetmakers beyond brand bc then they would be bound to policy. they stick to public domain data so jetmaker has no say to what can or cannot be done

PA talks to jetmakers. often they get the privilege to see things. no ones worried bc PA is not trying to replicate
Sim makers must thread a thin line between replication, export control and jetmaker policy. That privilege would be a liability

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG i think you are absolutely overthinking about it here lol. some manufacturers would gladly show them the actual interface/employment/tactical systems, doesnt mean PA has to implement or can depict it in the game. no different than Tom Cruise coached to play with rhinos all day

@ElDuderinoGG @RayleeRaven574 @AUTOMATON_ENG Ace Combat even back on the PS2 had faithful recreations of models down to how the bleed vents work, also depiction of novel tech (Scinfaxi sublaunched UCAV, CCA, COFFIN cockpit etc) which didnt came out from nowhere, it was the industry showing them whats on shelf

accuracy and novel systems concept they could use for bosses/lore. manufacturers like collab with them vs WT/DCS bc the final product isnt going to tip off sensitive info

They have access to SDF and manufacturers. they seen the GCAP prototype in Warton. they had collabs with MoD's ATLA. they have more access than any DCS dev ever would lol

Anything that takes off with experimental or testing configurations gets photographed publicly. We got a picture of an Super Bug with a AIM-174B Gunslinger long before it was ever announced.
