@jeanpiconsuegra That's just what you get when you try to do a top-20 list of a category that has so many sub-categories in itself.
It's like doing top 20 movies of 2026 and then realizing no comedy movies made the cut. And this is also why it's better to always to top-20 withing a sub-cat.

No disrespect to anyone in this list or to Creative Boom but why is this list just like 95% branding designers? Seriously, it’s like some of you act like designers in the music industry just don’t exist.

Who are the top 20 graphic designers of 2026, as voted for by creatives? 👀 The full list is right here: creativeboom.com/inspiration/to…

@0xCharlota Been doing "design directions" lately (inspired by @LucieBajgart 's process)
We now go deeper in our explorations, and it unlocks loads of ideas on how to present the brand across multiple touch points.

@AlexAperios What's the wildest response you've gotten from asking "why"?
English

@amitrawatinc Yeah that’s a good questions. I like asking Why? What’s really making you change.
This reveals a lot for me and sometimes completely reframes the initial enquiry.
My questions change based on my initial call though. I let the client talk first and just listen.

Want to know the quickest way to kill a great project before it starts? Rush the discovery phase.
Younger me was guilty of this. I just wanted to get to the fun part, design! But that's exactly how endless revisions are born. That's how you end up with a Frankenstein identity that looks like roadkill.
Here's what years of client work taught me: the more you dig for their goals, their business, their growth plans, even what they eat for dinner 😉, the less guesswork you're doing later.
"But Alex design is exploration, iteration, happy accidents!" Yeah, it is. But when you've built a solid foundation, you can still explore freely, you just do it without the back-and-forth, the scope creep, and the compromises. You end up with work you love just as much as your client does.
Less "I hope they like it." More "I know they will."

@amitrawatinc @artmonnk You are so good with E-commerce projects!

@tanmaylogoswami If the brand leans more towards authority, the left one (more upright) will make more sense.
If the brand leans more towards progress / growth / dynamism, the right one can be the better choice.

@KaiXCreator It's powering it by taking care of rote admin tasks and repetitive actions.
