As we look ahead from #COP28, we urge all nations to be ambitious with their actions, regarding their commitments made here as a starting point and to accelerate climate action alongside efforts to protect nature.

While we are pleased to see all fossil fuels referenced in a COP decision text for the first time, the wording does not reflect the scale and pace of change needed to correct the course to climate chaos we are on. What we need now is urgency. #COP28

Climate change is not just, orderly or equitable, so the urgency to commit to phasing out the production and use of all fossil fuels cannot be overstated. If we have any hope of maintaining a safe and liveable future for our planet, we must commit to an absolute reduction in fossil fuel emissions, as fast as possible.
