First of all Amna, this reply or comment was not for you at all. I didn't even think about that. I wasn't actually talking about you at all. I am talking in general to be honest over here that there are a lot of people. I call them nerds because they live in the X bubble, okay. Yes I am sorry if I hurted you and I didn't mean to or didn't intend to hurt anyone in my life ever. My post was in general mode that a lot of people on Twitter do not know the outer world and that's the reality, which I have seen in my life in these three years of being on Twitter. That's what I intended to make a statement over here: that framer may be popular in some places in some social media but there is a long run ahead for framer to actually get adapted in the big big companies. Yes there are a lot of companies, million-dollar companies, complex companies with a lot of code, etc., etc., where you just can't have the framer at all. That's the whole statement I wanted to talk about.

Got rejected from an interview today because I use Framer, not Figma. I design and build in Framer for almost a year now — there's little to no difference between the two anymore. Faster ship time, zero handoff friction, and I ship real products. I get it, Figma's still the industry default. I have experience there too, older projects but the fundamentals don't just disappear. I was ready to pick it back up if the role needed it. But I guess "here's a live product I shipped and sold" wasn't the same as "here's a Figma file." Still figuring out if that's a them problem or a me problem. Probably both.

Hi Vinay, I'm the nerd you're talking about. Worked with companies, designed a million-dollar SaaS product, designed multiple dashboards and worked on complex projects too. Infact i know how to code as well. So yes ive been in a real company and have the experience. You've got a decent following on X but lack the etiquette to speak about people or respect their opinions. We are comparing two different softwares that serve different purposes. Framer cannot replace figma, and vice versa. Anubhav is a framer dev thus i highlighted the value of framer development. I never said framer is better than figma. I use and love figma more than framer, but that doesn't mean Framer isn't famous outside X and isn't worthy in the market. I hope we can be more respectful while expressing our opinions.

I do hope that these nerds understand that the framer is not much talked in the world outside of X. This is the reality. The concept of that framer is the easiest. It is helpful to create a lot of things but still it is not there with Figma in a lot of diff. things. These nerds have to get into the outer world, apart from X, and get it in a real company so that they can understand about the WHY?

As I work in a software firm. I would tell you that most companies need raw-code products to have full control and scaleability. Yes Framer is really handy for landing pages and stuff but when you talk about complex SaaS products, you need Figma. Cause design handoff would be very tough without it.

@Anubhavbtw i viewed the layout of your portfolio case studies and it doesnt overwhelm me, it delivers the point very well and is easy to scan thru.
