ادعاهایی مثل بیهوده بودن یا ناموفق بودن سفر شاهزاده به اروپا بخشی از برنامه جمهوری اسلامیست. بخش اول برنامه جمهوری اسلامی فشار بر دولت‌های اروپایی برای لغو سفر و‌ برنامه بود. بخش دوم تبلیغ بیهوده یا ناموفق بودن آن است. اگر بیهوده است چرا اینقدر می‌کوشید لغو شود. اگر ناموفق بود چرا اینقدر جوش می‌زنید؟
