@bizukis a lot of it is probably projection which is okay (i guess) but people need to stop treating it as canon 😭😭 mike hasn't been shown to care about the frogface comments in later seasons sooo
i agree. he'd love being called handsome and feel loved and wanted bc who wouldn't but his focus isn't on his looks. if it were a big insecurity we'd see more of it than one frogface comment and he'd be way less confident with his first gf. instead he jumped at that opportunity-
@7missedclouds its emotionally anchored. so when someone disagrees it feels like a personal attack. thats why discourse escalates quickly. people are coming from different places.. some are focused on what canon supports and others are on their emotional connection to the character
so much ship discourse i see looks a lot like people not understanding that projecting onto a character is perfectly fine but it doesnt mean its "in character" and by virtue it doesnt mean other people will agree or like it depending on how They perceive the same character
@7missedclouds well idk if i should say some are focused on what canon supports when that's not always the case... sometimes people just have two different interpretations that are both influenced by projection
for a dollar stop coddling and babying a white cishet wealthy abled least traumatized male immature self-centered mean already extremely coddled empty asshole
a lot of ppl say they want queer representation, but then when we get a character who is canonically gay and gnc, they complain abt those very traits and give them to the straight cis character instead
