I have just remembered that George recorded Brian's confession...

And so it begins. Telling lies to cover up lies, #Brian. Never a good idea. Oh, as I see you are about to learn! #Ruairi

@lidlkim I hope not. It feels like George is just getting himself together so him not being the Dad could undo all that :-/ #TheArchers

@L1minus10 We never sneak a late equaliser... but here we are. Could we sneak a win?!

As a team, utter shit. West Brom winning this because they’ve worked harder and done the basics. #saintsfc

Work friends aren't your real friends.
The day my wife got laid off, she had 47 “friends.” Three months later, she had heard from only two of them.
Here’s what work friendships actually are:
For 12 years, they used to have lunch together every day, complained about management every day, celebrated birthdays, shared personal problems, and went to happy hours.
She thought these were her friends — real friends. And then she got laid off.
The day it happened: sympathy texts — “So sorry.” “Let’s stay in touch.” “We should get coffee.”
Week one: a few check-ins — “How are you doing?” “Hang in there.”
Week two: silence.
Month one: She reached out — “Wanna grab lunch?”
“I’m so busy. Let’s find a time.” They never did.
Month two: She saw the Instagram post — they’re at happy hour without her.
Month three: She stopped trying.
Here’s what she learned:
Work friends are friends of convenience.
You’re friends because you’re both stuck in the same place at the same time.
You bond over shared misery, shared goals, and shared schedules.
The moment you’re not there anymore, you’re not part of the shared experience.
So you become a reminder of what could happen to them.
You’re the uncomfortable proof that they’re all replaceable too.
So they distance themselves — not because they’re bad people, but because you represent their fear.
And because work friendships were always transactional.

Why would Lilian be unhappy to have the "rusty old" horsebox at the stables (because, y'know, it's a horsebox at some stables) but happy to have it at her home?

@L1minus10 Hmm. It should be two points for the right number of goals, right?!

I've just gone 4 nil in the next prediction league but am worried now I've seen @L1minus10 agrees 😂

@CamillaPargett1 I have. He was a possible H in #LineOfDuty and the main character's husband in Apple Tree Yard.

Where did Helen and Finley go and where were her kids? I think I may have stopped listening a bit!
