tips with no explanation aren't great.
I understand it is targeted for beginners but they need to know when/why/how each thing can be applied.. not to avoid them.

dont draw on a bright white canvas dont draw with bright black lines dont touch the gradient tool dont shade with dodge and burn dont shade with multiply dont highlight with white dont use the same value for any of your flat colours

@cozyrobinson @PaulTassi This might be a hot take but as someone who has played a lot of almost every bungie game, Destiny has run its course. It was/is a good franchise. But it had its time and was great for what it did. I'm enjoying Marathon quite a bit. But we dont really need D3 imo.

@PaulTassi idk why people think destiny 3 is a magic bullet. destiny 1 and 2 both launched horribly. are we assuming they learned from their mistakes? or are we just hoping that it'll be a different studio developing it? genuinely curious.

@Tealst_ when I'm having trouble imagining where light and shadow may fall I'll recreate the pose in 3d and use different lighting angles to reference but I dont trace it. Everyone is different, that's what makes art so intriguing imo.
