my indie king robert pattinson did a bunch of indie work for a while before coming back to mainstream. he’s shown me what a smart career trajectory can look like. i can already see hudson going the same route and it makes me so hyped. indie films let him try different genres, 1/2

@hudconoisseur i think how jacob handles shane’s racial identity is absolutely something to be critical of but this notion that shane is going to be automatically sidelined in the narrative is very confusing to me considering there was material added to season 1 FOR SHANE

do not take this as me saying jacob shouldn’t be rightfully criticized but the season 2 dooming is stupid to me because say what you want about him but he is a competent television writer and in my opinion made a lot of changes that were narratively stronger including scenes for shane that were not in the book
