Far more disappointed with that 2nd half compared to the first. Felt like we just damage limitation rather than showing any sort of ambition to fight back. Not a 0-3 game though.

@AndyGoode10 What is annoying is any of the other tier 1 sides put 30 on them easily. Bang average side. We didn’t do the basics well at all ! They wanted it more for sure - braveheart on repeat. Got this massively wrong

Fair play to Scotland, they’ve won their Cup Final again. Thoroughly deserved the victory showing more skill, more rugby IQ, more desire and more belief. The atmosphere was unreal and our English tails are between our legs again

Sadly, that’s a team that has relegation written all over it right now. A hugely positive start - two superbly-taken goals - undermined by the same old collective & individual failings. We capitulated 2nd half &, in truth, Albion ran all over us. Shot count is embarrassing (1/2)

This squad is better than where it currently is, but I do feel our transfer window wasn’t as good as it seemed at the time. Vitor Matos has got a really tough job turning this around and trying to install confidence and an identity in this team. So bad. Embarrassing.

@nachoclaus I just wonder if that 7 point gap between ourselves and the bottom 3 gives him a bit more time? It shouldn't but having given him a 3 year deal (what were they thinking?) I can see the owners wanting to give him every opportunity before having to pay up the rest of his contract.

Going into the international break after that performance and result, off the back of all the other season-long problems on the pitch....
