I can already tell this week is about to be amazing. It's only Monday and we're being blessed with proofs of Women's Prize Shortlistee, Jacqueline Crooks' new novel! Booksellers give me a shout if you'd like one.

@PenguinHuddleUK I enjoyed Talking at Night but People in Love I am utterly obsessed with. Her exploration of love and romance is superb, but also she depicts growing up and out of love so well too, also Robin is such a peach I felt so attached to him😭

@amoydaleyx Claire needs all the awards for this one, because wow. I picked it up knowing what i wanted from it and i got everything i wanted and more.

I finished reading People In Love last night and I did not expect to shed so many tears at the last few pages, this book is a rollercoaster and I devoured it in two sittings. An excellent second novel from Claire Daverley! Thank you so much @PenguinHuddleUK for my copy💓

@PenguinHuddleUK The Easter scene😭 it had me on the edge of my seat, I felt each character’s emotions in my soul, each scene building towards it was splendidly done

So, this is literally a masterpiece. I've called it the romance novel of the decade but I also think its one of the greatest romance novels published in my lifetime. I am truly honoured to have read it. I won't be forgetting this one quickly at all.

I’ve just finished reading All We Have Is Time after devouring the whole thing in the space of 6 hours, I sobbed all the way through the last 50 pages of this vivid, experimental and gorgeously written novel, thank you so so much @PenguinHuddleUK for my copy🥹💓
