BREAKING: Bitcoin crashes under $60,000

Many of the same white liberal voters who live far from Chicago’s most blighted neighborhoods continue supporting policies that directly impact communities they don’t live in and don’t have to deal with every day. Meanwhile, residents on the South and West Sides continue facing abandoned properties, crime, economic disinvestment, aging infrastructure, and generational trauma. Now Chicago is debating a proposal that would allow certain apartment buildings to be constructed with a single staircase and a single exit instead of two. Chicago firefighters and city officials who oppose the proposal have raised concerns about resident safety and emergency access during fires and other emergencies. Yet supporters have brought firefighters and elected officials from cities such as Seattle and Baltimore to advocate for the ordinance. The question many Chicago residents are asking is simple: Why are outside voices being brought in to support a proposal when Chicago’s own firefighters and local officials have expressed concerns about its safety implications? Chicago families deserve a full and transparent debate before changes are made to the building code. ALL HANDS ON DECK 🇺🇸🌹 FlipsRed.com #ChicagoFlipsRed
