° On 13 March 2026, Malaysia participated in the Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on the Situation in the Middle East, chaired by the Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, H.E. Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, with Malaysia represented by Secretary General and the ASEAN SOM Leader for Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Amran Mohamed Zin.  ° The Meeting discussed the impacts of the conflict on global energy security, supply chains, and the safety of ASEAN nationals in the affected areas.
