A very clear sky and not a breath of wind has made it a frosty morning here in North Yorkshire. Rooftops, lawns and the neighbours' cars are dusted with white. #TulipTuesday My tulips are beginning to open. A new range of colour just as the daffodils fade.

Just wanted to say on here as I’ve no one else to say it to is thst I woke up to the wonderful news that Hungary has kicked out the disgusting Orban. It gives me great hope that our world will one day become a better place again. Its good excuse for more photos

This is what I bought. I’m pleased with the 2 large Keiller jars. The Casa Pupo doves are quite sought after and the wooden items will all look much better with some wax polish but…. first of all a look in the greenhouse!

What fantastic news from Hungary. Proof that if you stand up to it right wing kleptocratic populist authoritarianism can be beaten. Orban will now flee somewhere with his wealth. But this is more than a bad night for him. It is a bad night for Putin who as in Moldova spent a fortune trying to rig it. It is a bad night for Trump. It is a bad night for Vance and Rubio who believed that their mere presence in Budapest would swing the vote Orban’s way. They helped Magyar! . It is a bad night for Farage the AfD and Le Pen because it shows that when their brand of politics is exposed to serious opposition and scrutiny it collapses. Magyar is far from the perfect leader but my God he deserves all the congratulations coming his way for ousting Orban and showing how it can be done. He now has the tough job of dismantling the corrupt systems and bodies installed over 16 years. The people of Hungary deserve our thanks for showing these people can be beaten. And Zelensky now deserves far greater support from Europe.

In my 61 years - I have - we nearly went out of the league. Folk need to remember this is one of the golden eras of Burnley FC being among the top 25 clubs in the country for approaching 2 decades and spending more time in the Prem than out of it. Just maybe, the board and recruitment have taken responsibility for the difficulties of this season in particular. I don't want to pinpoint players really, but the new signings should be the ones to bridge the gap. We signed Dubravka, Weiss, Walker, Hartmann, Tuanzebe, Ugochukwu, Florentino, Bruun-Larsen, Broja, Tchaouna over the Summer. Outfield, only Walker has been worthwhile and even he couldn't make the starting 11 yesterday. Lauren has been holding a place ahead of Big Les! Should they have done more to keep Brownhill - I always thought so but many fans were relaxed about seeing him go. Brownhill or Florentino? No brainer for me. Is that on Parker? How much of a part has he played in the signings and letting Brownhill and others go? So just maybe, the board have decided not to take the easy option and fire Parker, as they believe the problem has been recruitment. I get it's disappointing. But it's also disappointing listening to Colin Crompton (google the wheeltappers and shunters if you don't know) moaning incessantly behind me for the last 5-6 years since I got my current seat, even in the promotion years. It's also disappointing to hear fans taking the piss out of the team they are supposedly supporting.

With the onset of my Sister coming this week for the day and bringing her bus pass - she is 83 walks everywhere - we have decided to take a trip along the coast. I wonder how far one could get on local buses around the coast of the UK; just short journeys on a daily basis 🤔

Happy Sunday everyone. Slept late today as our friends left late but a lovely evening had by all. Well the peace talks have failed so more turbulence. What can we do nothing but hope for peace but in the meantime we have to live. So have a peaceful day and recharge. Love ❤️
