I took out time to watch Monica 2, less than 5 minutes into the movie, I was already in tears. I haven’t seen a movie so depressing. It’s 6/10 for me. They would have let it end in part one, after all it was based on real life events.

To all the ladies: make sure you’re earning before you marry anyone, wealthy or not. After my master’s degree, my husband came to ask my dad for my hand in marriage. My Dad said “No job for her, no wedding.” My husband immediately started looking for a job for me and landed me a job at a bank. Three months later, I was employed and trained. We then returned to my dad, who gave his blessings, and set our wedding date. That decision from my dad changed my life. I’ll always be grateful to him.
