Once, I told a patient she had massive serotonin overproduction (carcinoid syndrome) and she immediately asked if she could donate the excess to “make other people happier” That was literally her first reaction to her own diagnosis, and I found that just so selfless & wholesome

The finale to our second to last block of OMS-II is an event called Endocrine Grand Rounds — learned so much about an interesting case of a pt w/ pulmonary embolism & thyroid storm. Truly enjoyed the process of creating the presentation, had an even better time presenting!

I’m going to be a urologist! 😭 I cannot thank my support system enough. From being the first person in my family to graduate high school to a surgeon in training—I have no words. Can’t wait to find out who my new bffs are on 2/3 🥹 #UroSoMe #UroMatch
