Caution is needed in attempting to replicate South Korea's response in populations with larger more geographically widespread epidemics where finding, testing, and isolating cases that are linked to clusters may be more difficult.

Our paper examining the response to COVID-19 in South Korea is now online in @BMCMedicine rdcu.be/b8gQw. South Korea has avoided a large COVID-19 epidemic and has retained the ability to maintain case-based or cluster-based interventions. Couple of highlights below.
