"For generations, too many blind kids have been denied this opportunity, and they've made the decision not to pursue these careers, not because they weren't interested, but because society told them that they couldn't." That's why we have STEM2U: buff.ly/vfflELl

Through the Paschal Mystery, the Lord shows us that the power of love transforms even the most difficult and challenging circumstances. Though suffering cannot always be avoided or eliminated, it still holds a redemptive significance that restores lost dignity and opens the door to new life.

Today, on Palm Sunday, we enter into the mystery of Christ’s Passion. As we walk with Christ toward the Cross this Holy Week, let us do so with great hope. This Holy Week, may our hope remain fixed on Him, who transforms even death into life.

As Jesus walks the Way of the Cross, we place ourselves behind him, following in his footsteps. As we walk with him, we contemplate his passion for the sake of humanity, his broken heart, and his life as a gift of love. vatican.va/content/leo-xi…

Holy week invites us to promise anew to live our faith as Jesus teaches us through his Passion: Take up your cross; pick yourself up when you fall; forgive those who misjudge and hurt you; and embrace his Mother as your Mother. Do your part to make this week “holy!”

30 years and 18 days ago, Iowa was also the beneficiary of playing with a man advantage. The guilty party: Gene Keady & Purdue
Rick Brown@ByRickBrown

Remember Mar. 9, 1996, @JessSettlesHoop? No. 19 Iowa led No. 4 Purdue, 54-52, at CHA. Settles ties up Porter Roberts, :10.9 left. Iowa possession. Coach Keady calls TO. Just four Boilers return to floor. A fifth runs onto court after in-bds pass to see Kenyon Murray dunk. 56-52.

The hurt is the price you pay to climb the mountain, and it was always going to hurt most for Nebrasketball whenever this season ended. Beats the hell out of feeling nothing. But if that was the cost to experience what we did these last 4 months, I'd pay it every time. #Huskers

💔 Let the trolls have their moment. Let the comedic media say their jokes. You tip your cap to your opponent who made the plays. I’m gutted for those players, but they took us on a special ride this year. To see Nebraska in the national spotlight was awesome. GBR always.

More frustrating: at least in the three mens sports, Nebraska has demonstrably more resources. Better facilities. But Iowa has dominated. Why? This goes beyond one sport, program or coaching staff. This is the summer project for NU.

The Iowa problem: Baseball-lost season series four of last six years Football-lost 10 of 11 WBB-lost 12 of 14 MBB-lost 9 of 12 I don't want to hear another Husker fan sneer at Iowa thinking NU is any better than them. In four of the big six sports, they've eaten Nebraska's lunch

Nebraska athletics has an Iowa problem. Especially in the mens sports. It must priority one to beat them in everything. Enough is enough.
