Can someone for the love of God audit these people and start putting them in jail? If this was any other group they would go to jail for blatant fraud. @amyoder No you put out bullshit that isn't supported by any evidence. Like your statement that veterans scam the system 10 times more than other groups which isn't true. The biggest scammers in the system are PPP recipients which largely were wealthy which had a 10 times higher fraud rate than the VA.

Once again, Immigrants setting up businesses like a daycare that defraud Medicare is completely different than an immigrant who pays taxes receiving a subsidy for health insurance In both examples you are trying to compare people blatantly scamming the system vs. people doing things in the way they are lawfully instructed to. But that’s besides the point. The worst part is you acknowledge that veterans scam the system, you know exactly how and why they are doing it, but you are downplaying it because ‘they served our country’. I don’t know if you are naive or just disingenuous, either way doesn’t matter because you are excusing fraud.

Your claim was there is more fraud in the VA disability system than in all other government subsidiaries. I said that is untrue. The VA serves a small minority making the fraud, though present, not possibly at the same level of all the other systems. I just gave one recent example that happened to come from Fox News. We have seen many other examples across California, New York and even Minnesota and Texas of people committing fraud with these services. Do I agree with her choice of education, no I do not, is her claim fraudulent, maybe. But the way it works is once you prove symptoms and treatment the benefit continues. Plus with something in the mental health area will always be subjective as is tinnitus. How do you prove a fraudulent claim?

Remove your Fox News bias and think with objectivity even if it’s just this one time. With ACA, ITIN holders receive a subsidy but they still have to reconcile it on their taxes, e.g. they still pay into the program and file taxes. On the other hand, veterans do not pay into ANYTHING as VA disability is non taxable. Green card holders make up less than 1% of my book, I’d assume this data extrapolated across a larger dataset would be similar. This would mean there are maybe 300k legal immigrants claiming subsidies (who also pay taxes), compared to 7 million veterans claiming disability (who do not pay taxes) Veterans are the most protected class from criticism out of all groups, so I understand why you’re blindly defending them, as that’s the common narrative. But that’s not a valid reason to excuse them from blatant fraud. I’ve talked to hundreds of disabled veterans and I can tell you from anecdotal experience, most of them are leeching off the system and bending rules
