Being an instructor has taught me so much. Before I started this position @junocollege, I had little experience in public speaking. I worried if I was going to be good at this, but I also know that putting myself in something I'm not 100% sure about is the only way I will grow.

Posted an ad on fb marketplace and kijiji at the same time, I was able to get multiple replies and sold the item on marketplace in half an hour, whereas no replies on kijiji for the next 12 hrs. Fb is evil but I think I’m going to be using marketplace over kijiji now. 👀👀

@esthr_e i haven't fully overcome the fear but i've been taking diazepam before/during long flights for years now and it has drastically helped. i usually feel a lot more relaxed amd i don't even take anything at all now on shorter flights <2h so something has worked!

I'm just over a month away from flying to the maritimes and my flight anxiety is already kicking in. Has anyone ever successfully overcome a fear of flying? It's specifically the turbulence/feeling trapped.
