@PokemonStockUK The Pikachu promo hasn’t arrived to many of the above stores yet and a fair amount of the staff aren’t even aware of the existence of the promo. It’s more likely for these stores to get these Pikachu jumbos at a later date

@ThreshedThought That was my first question, it's worded as though they're shutting it down for the whole town, very unclear! Once again, thank you Mike for clarity on the situation!
English

@YodelOnline hi you've just delivered my parcel broken, it was a Christmas present and it's smashed to bits and now I've got glass everywhere 😭
English

@sewateruk any comment on those of us getting red/itchy hands after using the tap water?!
It's meant to be safe to shower in but now I'm not so sure! Only used it once and my hand won't stop itching...

@Debss2500 @sewateruk @ThreshedThought same 😣 I just did some googling and apparently it's our skin being sensitive to any leftover treatment chemicals/higher chlorine etc which makes sense but I don't want to use it at all now 😅
English

@amysians @sewateruk @ThreshedThought Oh ffs, its a joke. My hands feel ok today but it worries me. I'm not even sure whether to wash my clothes or not!
English

Hey #TunbridgeWellians my water is back but I dont trust it and only using it to flush the loo (at last!) I did wash my hands in it & they feel prickly (is that in my head?) Is anyone using it to wash up or shower? I'm a bit worried? Anyone else have a prickly feeling on hands?
English

@ThreshedThought As an anxious person, thank you for your efforts and being transparent in what's going on, something South East Water seems unable to do. These updates are most welcome 🙏

2100 Tuesday 2nd December
I want to update you on the current situation with the water outage in Tunbridge Wells.
The first thing to say is that there is no time or date for a resolution of this incident. Tonight, South East Water are effectively going backwards, and those houses that came into supply today are already starting to lose supply.
I have today checked and got assurances that if your water supply has been restored, the water in your taps is safe to drink. If this should change for any reason, this would be very clearly communicated, and I will be sure to let you know immediately.
Today, I met with the Minister for Water, Emma Hardy MP, and made sure that she has an accurate understanding of the situation here in Tunbridge Wells. I made sure that she understood that if this water outage continues we need national resources brought to bear in Tunbridge Wells - we have a situation where health care settings, care homes and GP surgeries are closing. She agreed, and we will be speaking again tomorrow.
I also met the Head of Public Affairs at OFWAT, the water regulator who came to Tunbridge Wells at my invitation. We made sure that we had a common understanding of the situation and discussed accountability for South East Water after this appalling crisis has been resolved.
OFWAT are absolutely on our side, as is the Minister for Water.
Finally, I invited Sir Ed Davey, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, to Tunbridge Wells so that I could brief him on the situation. I wanted him to have an accurate understanding so that he can raise our crisis with the Prime Minister. He met local residents and representatives of local organisations, and took the opportunity to help out at a water distribution site.
Practical information
The three bottled water sites will be open until 2200 tonight. They are at:
•RCP Car Park on Major Yorks Road
•Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre on St John’s Road
•The Odeon in Knights Park
I am pushing to get more sites established in the centre of town.
Public toilet trailers have been brought into the town centre – and are at Fiveways in front of the RVP shopping centre - thanks to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. They will be open during Royal Victoria Place shopping centre opening hours.
I am doing everything I can - alongside my team who are working very long hours - both to raise the issue at a national level, as well as to improve the crisis response on the ground. In particular, I would like to thank Tunbridge Wells Borough Council for all the work they are doing.
Mike

@sewateruk madness that you keep changing the time for Tunbridge Wells, 8am tomorrow now?! Surely that was known in advance? Please just be honest so we can prepare, I thought I had enough water for today and now have to head out for more. Thank you @ThreshedThought for updates!!
