This is a reference to an objective standard, what is a threat, by which the state determines if human beings live or die in war.

If there was an imminent threat from Iran, Tulsi’s answer would have been: yes. It’s as simple as that. She wouldn’t have tied herself into pretzels with the ridiculous claim that only a President can determine that. She literally puts out an annual threat assessment. The plain fact is that she lied. She’s lying us into a war that her career was supposedly dedicated to avoiding . I was wrong last summer, she’s substantially worse than Colin Powell. She’s a traitor to this nation.

I know what my grandfather would say about what Kent wrote in his letter. He was a Marine. He fought on Iwo Jima. He was Jewish. He’d be furious.
I know for a fact Kent leaked to Tucker Carlson a meeting the President had with me, at the President’s request, which Carlson in turn used on the internet. No President should be treated like that. Apparently, there were more. Not good. And the appalling antisemitism in Kent’s public letter deserves judgment, which is why so many of all faiths are condemning it.

Speaker Mike Johnson just fired back at Joe Kent like a cannon blast!
He said straight up: "I don’t know where he is getting this info. Had the president waited, we’d be facing mass casualties."
That's the Speaker shutting down Kent's resignation whining hard.
Kent claimed Iran posed no imminent threat, but Johnson made it crystal clear - waiting would have meant dead Americans.
The contrast is stark: one guy bails with excuses, the other stands firm on the intel that saved lives.
This is classic wimp behavior from Kent - take the job, then quit when the fight heats up and spin defeatist nonsense.
We're glad he's gone; Trump doesn't need quitters undermining the mission!
America First means decisive action, not second-guessing from the sidelines.
Johnson's defense of the strikes shows real leadership - the regime is crumbling, and patriots are cheering every blow.

JUST ASKING QUESTIONS ... Did Joe Kent leak classified information to the media and Woke Reich neo-Fascists in violation of the Espionage Act? Did any of the parties to whom he reportedly/allegedly leaked share the information with Qatar or other countries? What did Qatarlson mean when he volunteered in his video statement that his texts were reviewed by the CIA and he was under investigation for violating FARA? Who told him that? Just asking questions and seeking answers.

Donald Trump was overwhelmingly elected by the American people to be our President and Commander in Chief. As our Commander in Chief, he is responsible for determining what is and is not an imminent threat, and whether or not to take action he deems necessary to protect the safety and security of our troops, the American people and our country.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is responsible for helping coordinate and integrate all intelligence to provide the President and Commander in Chief with the best information available to inform his decisions.
After carefully reviewing all the information before him, President Trump concluded that the terrorist Islamist regime in Iran posed an imminent threat and he took action based on that conclusion.

This war started in 1979, and Trump talked in 1980 and 1988, among other times, about how he'd settle it if necessary. He was also clear in his campaigns that he'd never let Iran get or use a nuclear weapon and has been consistent in that from Day 1. Sit down.
