West Bridgewater’s senior captain standout Jag Garces had a historic game as he scored point number 1,000 in his brilliant high school career. Jag Garces had 990 points to start the game and scored his 10th point of the game on a free throw at 6:01 in the 2nd quarter to reach 1,000 points. Jag Garces capped his memorable game by scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Spotlight Stats: West Bridgewater’s Jag Garces exhibited a 11/11 factor in the game. Jag Garces, who wears jersey number (11), scored his epic 1,000-point in his high school career on a free throw that put West Bridgewater in the lead by (11) points by the score of 26-15. Early in the third quarter of the game Jag Garces scored 4 points in 8 seconds as he scored a 2-point basket then stole the ball and then scored off his steal on a layup. RPI got a 5 tool guy! Jag can do it all at a high level. Outstanding speed makes him a threat on the bases and can run down anything in the outfield. He has quick hands and feet in the infield. He can command 5 pitches on the bump and isn’t afraid to take the ball in the biggest moments. As if that’s not enough, Jag is a great teammate and culture guy who is an example of how to be a competitor, hard worker, and go earn everything! Your Express Elite family is so proud of you!

West Bridgewater High School Wildcats Junior Jag Garces and Sophomore Charlie Mallett accomplished a rare feat this past week. As pitchers they each won a game while throwing 9 strikeouts in consecutive games.
