My eldest sister gave birth, and I was told to go help her out as it was her first child. I was there, and I decided to go to the market to get some clothes for myself, I brought the clothes home, and was testing it for my sister to tell me if it's okay or not. I wore the first one, and as I tried on the second one, my sister said ha, don't come and use clothes to snatch my husband, I said sister what did you say? She repeated it again, then I knew it was my time to leave. I stayed for a while and left. Some few years later, I got married and later found out they things wasn't so well with them, she called me and I offered to send some money to her which she agreed. Some minutes later she called me back again and said I'm the one using her glory. The sisterhood bond between us broke that day till today.

I got a small tattoo on my arm and casually posted it on my WhatsApp status. My boyfriend saw it and messaged me asking why I would do that, saying I should find a way to remove it or else… I thought he was just joking around, so I replied with “lol” and didn’t take it seriously. But when he got home that night, the first thing he did was ask to see my arm. As soon as he saw the tattoo, he told me to pack my things and leave. He even took back the iPhone 16 he bought me last month. I’ve been trying to apologize and explain, but he’s not listening at all and won’t talk to me.

@MrAbuSidiq Oga,they can't give what they don't have. You too cannot.Being metered and on any Band means your money remains intact,until they can give whatever amount of light.That's an improvement on estimated billing where you pay for light not provided at all.

But you are charging me for being on Band A, which is a minimum of 20-22 hours of power supply, whether shortage from national grid or not. That is a contract forced on me, yet you are not meeting your side of the forced contract. Who pays for the difference? The shortage is not supposed to be my business. Give me light for what you are charging me for. If you can’t guarantee that, then don’t force me to pay for service you cannot provide.

There was a time that fuel was N85 per litre in this country Nigeria Global Brent crude price then which was around $99 has not changed much from prices of today. We may have to revisit this issue of subsidy for Nigerians. Nigerians don’t benefit anything from govt. Absolutely nothing. Let subsidy be our benefit. The money that’s claimed to be saved for us Nigerians is still relooted by the same system. Nigerians don’t benefit anything whatsoever. If subsidy wants to be withdrawn, let it be done gradually and there be safety nets for the common man.
