@Dominik7c1 My point stands : the claim that "Islam is incompatible with the West" makes as much sense as "Christianity is incompatible with secular liberalism". If you affirm the former, you'd affirm the latter, if you reject the former, you'd reject the latter, unless you're cherry picking

European enlightenment ideas wouldn't be a thing without the medieval scholastics, and the medieval scholastics wouldn't be a thing without Islam, so the claim that "Islam is incompatible with the West" makes as much sense as "Christianity is incompatible with secular liberalism"
