@anatomicketten that’s a horrible attitude to have. i like seeing my friends having a good time and relaxing. $100 towards their trip doesn’t cancel out some imaginary vacation for me when flights are more expensive than that

she's right. wedding gifts were intended to help people who married young start a new home without needing to suddenly spend hundreds/thousands after an expensive wedding. saying "ummm i dont need that but pay for my holiday instead 👉🏻👈🏻" is tacky.

Yeah but cis women don't feel dysphoria and the envy of a trans woman is not just "wanting to be pretty". I don't know of many cis women wanting to off themselves because they feel they're too manly.
