@SpicyWiener8888 And clanking with Steve as Wario is horrible as well. If you clank with up tilt, you're now in a scramble. And Steve might be the best character in the game in scrambles, so that's not a good situation at all

@SpicyWiener8888 Well the fact that dash attack (a move that's -33 on shield) is his counterplay is kind of the point. The risk/reward to challenge up tilt is just horrible. And even if dash attack hits, Wario doesn't really get much from dash attack at 0%

is there a reason im not seeing why wario cant just dash attack and worst case scenario get an even clank? even late hit clanks with uptilt cus thats like 19 frames of hitbox to clank with uptilt and if u get good timing itll hit between hits

@still_1m4g1n4ry The Steve player used a tech called "PMLG" that essentially cancels the hitstun of the move they got hit by. Effectively giving Steve a counter. People wanted Steve and the tech banned. But it's still legal and now it cost Gluto a stock bc of it. Hope this helps!
