@ancrayt Why my renders look like shit" is the most honest and relatable part of learning Blender 😂
English

Started learning Blender in my free time between client work.
Not doing it to charge more. Not doing it because clients ask for 3D. I just watch ads and videos with sick 3D work and think: “Damn, I want to make that.”
That’s it.
Most people learn new skills because “it’ll help me get more clients” or “I can charge extra for this.” But honestly? The best skill progression happens when you’re just genuinely curious about something.
I see a crazy 3D product shot in an ad and want to reverse-engineer it. That motivation hits different than “I should learn this for my portfolio.”
Will Blender make me more money eventually? Probably.
Will it open new opportunities? Maybe.
But right now I’m just having fun figuring out how nodes work and why my renders look like shit.
If I grind enough productive hours in this, the experience will pay off. But the process itself is already worth it.
Real talk: Learn things because you want to, not just because they’re “marketable skills.” The passion shows in the work.
