A lot of this is a very weird way to categorize and talk about stuff though. Most of my all time favorites don’t really “fit” but this is how most anime fans talk about everything now

@IIXXIIMMXXII anime. digimon tamers in particular. there are a couple of movies attached to it but i haven't seen em yet

happy for jeff. nice day at the dish for him. mets are the worst team ever. lineup is anemic... makes me sad

at the end of the day, its still dragon quest. good clean fun rpging and having fun. i think less exp to level up would eliminate any issues with the game. it just overstayed its welcome. don't think i can check how long i played but it was too long!!! taking a dq break now

arthur is a weak baby!! why would you give him the revive spell?? (maiko gets it also but its nearly impossible for her to get it first) the only time i had him use it was during the ~10 minute final boss! absurdity i tell you!! this game is psychotic

FINALLY finished dragon quest 2. that final area and dungeon is an enormous spike in difficulty and threatened to derail my enjoyment of the entire game but thankfully its dragon quest so the rest of it is good enough to make me ignore the demonic design on display here
